Gmail ups the limit to 2GB

It appears that Google has upped the storage for their Gmail accounts to 2GB. I first read of it on Google News and then promptly logged into my Gmail account to check it out. Sure enough, there at the bottom of the page… “You are currently using 28 MB (1%) of your 2057 MB.“
